Designing a website reflects a perfect combination of skills that utilize my gifts of creative communication. While artistic talent is the base behind the look and feel of each site, it’s my training in marketing & public relations that allows me to effectively communicate the message of each client. In addition, my experience in this field provides me with a deep understanding of search engine optimization (SEO).
Designing websites is what I do as part of my freelance business. I actually have a full-time position with Clemson University in the field of communications and public relations. I design websites because I enjoy it, and therefore take pride in the craftsmanship of the final product. Every site I design is unique from beginning to end. Never do I use a canned template. I design based on the needs and desires of the client, tailoring each site to those specifications.
I have a complete understanding of how to utilize the Internet to best serve the needs of my clients. This includes the ability to use any type of media necessary to reflect the message of my clients whether its video streaming, podcasting, meaningful photography, contemporary graphic design, and incorporating a site for use with devices such as an iPhone or Blackberry.
